ERASTUS, better known by his stage name DJ BONA, is an all round music genre DJ, and remixer from THE TEAM CRUZZ ENTERTAINMENT. DJ BONA is best known for his sets at music festivals, including Ultra Music Festival, Sunburn and Daylight Festival.
Hardwell first gained recognition in 2014 for his festival event hype of "THE DAYLIGHT INSOMNIA". He founded the crew labeled THEE HYPE in 2010 and a show dubbed HUNG OUT.
Musical beginnings[edit]
Through his participation in various competitions and fest events, he became known in the Nairobi DJ-scene. He was influenced by the DJ ALEKKINGS, who has been a top of the art turntablst.
As hip-hop became an underground scene, DJ BONA changed his genre to commercial electronic dance music, Carebean *(Dancehall) He started producing mixtapes and remixes and uploaded them on several platforms on the Internet. At the age of 19 he was offered a hype set deal to the BBQ Live Festival by the "Yellah Crew"
